Research shows there is a link between learning organisations and high performing ones. In the age of imagination and rapid scale change, the need for continuous learning has never been higher. This session is designed to equip leaders with the skills and knowledge to create a learning ecosystem within their organisations and to strengthen a learning culture.
We explore the models and principles associated with adult learning and the methods used to create a thriving culture of continuous development. We engage with the zones learners need to be in for successful knowledge transfer. Also, how to provide opportunities in the structure of the 70:20:10 model of learning and how to make learning applicable and transferable using adult learning principles.
Another component of the course is the neuroscience behind building a trust culture. We explore why trust is important and the links between trust, learning and performance. People learn best when they feel safe. Creating a culture of trust and vulnerability allows participants to relax and engage with whatever content is being delivered. We spend time discussing vulnerability as a leader and how that empowers trust within the organisation.
