ITIL Strategic Leader (ITIL SL) Certification

Overview

ITIL Strategic Leader (ITIL SL) recognises the value of ITIL, not just for IT Operations, but for all digitally enabled services. Becoming an ITIL Strategic Leader demonstrates that the professional has a clear understanding of how IT influences and directs business strategy.

ITIL Strategic Leader integrates the following modules:

• ITIL Strategist, with one module:

  • Direct, Plan and Improve (DPI)

• ITIL Leader, with one module:

  • Digital and IT Strategy (DITS)

Both modules are valuable independently but both must be completed to obtain the ITIL Strategic Leader designation.

Prerequisite: The ITIL Leader: Digital and IT Strategy module mandates three years of managerial experience as a prerequisite along with successful completion of ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
