ITIL Managing Professional (ITIL MP) Certification

Overview

ITIL Managing Professional (ITIL MP) targets IT practitioners working within technology and digital teams across businesses. The Managing Professional stream provides practical and technical knowledge about how to run successful IT projects, teams and workflows.

ITIL Managing Professional integrates the following modules:

• ITIL Specialist, with three modules:

  • Create, Deliver and Support (CDS)

  • Drive Stakeholder Value (DSV)

  • High Velocity IT (HVIT)

• ITIL Strategist, with one module:

  • Direct, Plan and Improve (DPI)

All modules are valuable independently but all four must be completed to obtain the ITIL Managing Professional designation.

After achieving the ITIL MP designation, if the candidate is interested in pursuing the ITIL Strategic Leader (ITIL SL) designation, they would only need to complete the ITIL Leader: Digital and IT Strategy (DITS) module, as the DPI module is common to both streams.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of ITIL 4 Foundation certification is a prerequisite for the ITIL Managing Professional designation.
